The American Red cross is responding across the Midwest where dozens of tornadoes ripped through communities overnight, destroying buildings and downing power lines.  Red Cross workers are already operating shelters and providing meals, and more help is on the way.  Read the press release.  Go the the national Red Cross site to see a video

The City of White Salmon sent a letter recently to the American Red Cross of Southwest Washington thanking them for the support they supplied during the bad weather. Read the letter.

The American Red Cross of Southwest Washington opened a shelter in Klickitat County to assist families who continue to have no power. As you can see in this KATU News video, it is still being staffed so nearby residents can get warm, have a hot meal and see a friendly face.

The only WHITE garbage truck in Clark County, this vehicle began its route in the core of Vancouver on Monday, January 16.
